Enabling Authorize.net
Navigate to Dealership Settings by clicking your initials on the DX1 Dashboard and selecting Dealership Settings
Select Online Payment Config in the left hand menu
Set the Authorize Net Enabled toggle to the ON position. In another browser tab or window, proceed to authorize.net to retrieve and generate the necessary keys.
Retrieving and Generating Keys
First log in to your Authorize.net merchant account using an administrator account
Select Account in the top navigation.
Retrieve API Login Key
Select API Credentials & Keys
Your API Login ID will be displayed on the screen. Copy and paste this value into the appropriate field on the Online Payment Config screen.
Generate Transaction Key
Select the New Transaction Key button.
Click Submit.
You will be prompted to verify your identity. Once this has been completed, your new Transaction Key will be displayed. Select Copy to Clipboard and paste this value into the Transaction Key field in DX1.
Generate Signature Key
Select the New Signature Key button.
Click Submit.
You will be prompted to verify your identity. Once this has been completed, your new Signature Key will be displayed. Select Copy to Clipboard and paste this value into the Signature Key field in DX1.
Generate Public Client Key
On the Account screen, select Manage Public Client Key
If you do not already have a Public Client Key, select Submit and complete identity verification. You may also copy your existing Public Client Key, if it exists.
Your new Public Client Key will appear on the screen. Copy the entire value and paste it in the Public Client Key field on the Online Payment Config screen in DX1.
Save Changes
Once all of the necessary keys have been entered on the Online Payment Config screen, select Save to save your changes.
Congratulations, payments authorize.net should now be active!
