The BRP Service History integration allows DX1 to look up the service history, recalls and bulletins for BRP units in real time when the unit is added to the RO and alert you if there is an unclaimed service bulletin.  A list of all service bulletins applying to a unit along with access to the original bulletin is now all accessible right from DX1.  This feature will keep you alerted to all unclaimed bulletins and save you time as you will no longer have to log into BOSSWeb to obtain this information.

In this document we will cover:

  • How to check if a unit has any Service Bulletins

  • How to pull up the Service Bulletin details

How to check if a unit has any Service Bulletins

  • The check for BRP service bulletins is automatically done when the unit is added to the RO.  It is important to note that this feature is only available for BRP brand units and that a VIN must be entered.

  • If the automatic check for BRP service bulletins returns one or more bulletins a “Service Bulletins” icon will appear in the unit information row:

    • If the icon is red it means that there are unclaimed service bulletins associated with the unit

    •  If the icon is blue it means that there are service bulletins associated with the unit but they have all been claimed

How to pull up the Service Bulletin details

  • To see the list of service bulletins associated with a unit simply click on the “Service Bulletins” icon

  • This will open the “Service Bulletins” page where you will see the following details:

    • Basic unit information

    • Comments from BRP

    • List of bulletins associated with the unit

    • Bulletin Type (Safety, Regular, Quality)

    • Bulletin Status (claimed or not claimed)

    • Campaign / Bulletin Description

    • Bulletin Number

    • One click access to pull the original bulletin from BRP
