What is a DX1 user (from a billing perspective)?


A user in the DX1 DMS system is defined as any active user that is set up with access to the system with a user role that is not one of the following roles/exceptions:


  • Marketing Manager - As primary role with no Secondary roles

  • Website Administrator - As primary role with no Secondary roles

  • Service Technician (specifically for technicians entering story information in service invoices) - As primary role with no secondary role. Can have custom permissions turned on with these specific options selected:

    • Service - Service Sales

    • Service - Service Sales - New Work Estimate

    • Service - Technician Timeclock

  • Administrator (Specifically for multi store time clock) - As primary role with no secondary role. Can have custom permissions turned on with these specific options selected:

    • Accounting - Time Clock

    • Accounting - Accounting Reports - Time Clock

    • Accounting - Accounting Reports - Time Clock Detail

    • Dealership Settings - Time Clock


*Please note that when a billable user is added that is above your contracted user count this will increase their bill by $50 per month.
