This document will focus on the four Technician / Job reports

Technician Hours: Use this report to see the number of Actual Hours a technician worked on service jobs in a selected date range regardless of RO or Job status.  Note that if you are manually entering a technician’s time into DX1 the report will use the date you did the manual entry.  If you are using the Technician Time Clock feature the report will reflect the exact time of the clock in / out.

Technician Hours for Cashed Out and Posted ROs: Use this report to see at a job level the number of Hours each technician worked on Cashed Out and Posted ROs in a selected date range.  Note that the date filter is based on the date the RO was actually Cashed Out and Posted.  For Installed, Non Installed and work Requested from an MU deal this will not be until the unit is actually sold.

Job Efficiency: Use this report to see the “efficiency” (Actual vs Allocated Hours) for each Job in the selected RO Updated date range.  This report will only include Jobs that are marked as Complete and or Jobs under ROs that are marked Sale Complete.  This report will help you to see if the hours you are Allocating to jobs are covering the hours it actually took to get the work done.

Technician Efficiency: Use this report to see the “efficiency” (Actual vs Allocated Hours) for each technician in the selected RO Updated date range.  This report again will only include Jobs that are marked as Complete and or Jobs under ROs that are marked Sale Complete.  This report will help you to see if your technicians are completing jobs in the time that was allocated.

Definitions:

Allocated Hours: These are what the customer will be charged for from a labor standpoint.  These hours will reflect on the customers receipt.

Actual Hours: This reflects the time the technician (or technicians) spent actually doing the service work from a labor standpoint.  This number does not have to match the Allocated Hours and NEVER appears on the customer receipt.
