Using the job completed toggle provides dealers with a way to add a date to job completion. This will allow dealers to:

  • Accurately report at the job level.
  • Receive internal notifications

In this document, we will cover the following topics

  1. Marking Jobs as Complete
  2. Un-completing jobs
  3. How to view the status in the RO sales list
  4. Reporting
  1. Marking Jobs as Complete
    1. Once you feel a job is complete you can set the toggle to "Complete"
    2. Make sure to set the Job Completed date
      • The calendar always defaults to the current date

    3. Once the Job Completed toggle is set to on you will see that the ability to change the date is locked.
    4. If you forget to toggle the job to complete, DX1 will do it for you when you complete the invoice, with the invoice completion date.
    5. This will be the date that is used in all Job Completed reports

  2. Un-completing jobs
    1. To uncomplete a job or to change the Job Complete date, simply toggle the Job Complete to "Off".
      1. Dates do not tie to uncomplete jobs, meaning you will not see any reporting job information with the toggle-off.
    2. Once you make the needed changes you can reset the Job Completed toggle to on and keep the original Completed date or you can set a new job completed date.
  3. How to view the status in the RO sales list
    1. In the Service Invoice list select the column chooser icon in a column header
    2. Click the Column chooser option
    3. Scroll the list and select "Show" next to:
      • Job Completed
      • Job Completed Date
    4. You can now view either status in the Service Invoice list
    5. Once a job is marked as complete we will show a (C) next to the job title
