To help you find parts for your customer or service department, DX1 has integration set up with PartSmart so you can easily and efficiently look up and export parts. As a precurser, your dealership will have to be signed up with PartSmart and install their software for access to their Microfiche.

In this document, we will cover the following topics

    1) The integrations DX1 has with PartSmart

        a) Click on the Microfiche button 

   b) Click on the ARI Part Smart - Web button

    c) PartSmart will open in a new tab, click on that tab, then enter your credentials and click Login

    d) Select a diagram, double click on the part or the hotspot you need

  e) This will create the drop-down, with the integration to DX1 you can see your dealership's part information below the part you selected. To add this to a pick list you will click on the Add +

   f) Once you have added your parts to the pick list, select the Pick Lists button in the top right

    g) This will bring you to your Pick List page, you can edit the number of parts (left) or remove them by clicking the - icon and click DMS under Export To: to send the pick list to DX1

    h) You will get the message Export Succesful if the pick list exports to DX1 correctly

    i) Now you can see that the Pick List was successfully added to DX1

That's it you are good to go!!!
