To help you find parts for your customer or service department, DX1 has integration set up with PartsManager Pro so you can easily and efficiently look up and export parts. As a precursor, your dealership will have to be signed up with PartsManager Pro and install their software for access to their Microfiche.

  • Help you look up parts quickly
  • Keep your customer happy so they aren't waiting
  • Efficiently export pick lists to DX1, no copy and paste

In this document, we will cover the following topics

    1) The integrations DX1 has with PartsManager Pro

    1) The integrations DX1 has with PartsManager Pro

        a) Click on the Microfiche button, there is a pop-up window and click Snap-on Parts Manager Pro

        b) This will create and direct you to a new tab, where you will enter your PartsManager Pro credentials

        c) In DX1 the part information that is boxed will integrate into PartsManager Pro. Such as MSRP, DSP, Dealership Cost, Bin Locations, QTY On Hand, QTY On Order & Memo.

        d) Select a diagram and select the Plus Sign next to the part you are looking for and it will add it to the picklist grid below.

         e) With the integration to DX1 when in the picklist grid below, you can see your dealership's part information. List is MSRP, Customer is DSP, Dealer is Dealership Cost, Bin Locations, QOH is QTY On Hand, QOO is QTY On Order & Part comment is Memo. QTY is the amount that will export to DX1 and is editable but will always default to the amount used on that diagram.

         f) Click the arrow between DX1* & Prices: to export picklist to DX1 and you will see the message in the top right if your picklist was exported to DX1 successfully. You can export to a parts invoice, parts ordering or service ro. If you have all 3 open at the same time you will get a pop-up in PartsManager Pro asking where to post the picklist.

         g) Now you can see that the Pick List was successfully added to DX1

That's it you are good to go!!!
