As the DX1 platform will migrate from the App-based program to the Browser-based program, setting up HLSM for the browser will require new steps. As a precurser, your dealership will have to be signed up with HLSM and install their software for access to their Microfiche. This will also require that you have installed the DX1 Microfiche Server if not find the link below to install it!

In this document, we will cover the following topics

    1) How to Set Dealer Information in HLSM

        a) Open HLSM click Tools then click Set Dealer Information 

        b) Configure OEM Parts Finder will pop up, click on Browse, then double-click on Windows (C:), then click on HLSM, then click on OK

        c) Click on the Point of Sale Information tab

            d) Choose the button Other POS/DMS system then click Browse

        e) Click on the Windows (C:), then double-click Program Files (x86)

        f) Double-click on DX1 Dominion Enterprises

        g) Double-click on DX1 Microfiche Server

        h) Double-click on HLSMShim

        i) You will be taken back to HLSM now click Save the point of sale information, then click on the Close button

    2) How to connect HLSM to the DX1 invoice

        a) Click on the DX1 MicroficheServer

        b) Click on the Options tab and click on Set Fiche Finder

        c) Select the HLSM Microfiche box and click on OK

        d) Click on the OK button on the Application restart may be required

        e) Click on the File tab and click on Exit

        f) Click on the DX1 MicroficheServer

        g) Open DX1 in your browser of choice and click on the tile Sales under Parts and Accessories

        h) Click on the New Invoice button

        i) Click on the MicroFiche button

    j) There is a pop-up window and click on HLSM. Now the integration between DX1 and HLSM has been set up. The user can use the HLSM desktop app to create picklists to export to DX1.
