As the DX1 platform will migrate from the App based program to the Browser based program, setting up PartsManager Pro for the browser will require new steps. As a precurser, your dealership will have to be signed up with PartsManager Pro for access to their Microfiche. This will also require that you have installed the DX1 Microfiche Server if not find the link below to install it!

    1) How to set the DX1 Microfiche Server POS Link

        a) Click on the DX1 MicroficheServer


        b) Click on the Options tab and click on Set Fiche Finder


        c) Select the Snapon Parts Pro Web box, then type 2345 in the dialog box and click OK


        d) Click on the OK button on the Application restart may be required


        e) Click on the File tab and click on Exit


        g) Click on the DX1 MicroficheServer


    2) How to set up PartsManager Pro browser and computer integration software  

        a) Open PartsManager Pro in your browser of choice, enter you information and click LOGIN 


        b) Click on Settings, then click on Integration Settings 


        c) It will route you here and you will need to click Download to get the browser extension


        d) This will pop up in the browser and click on Leave

        e) It will bring you to this Chrome page and you will click Add to Chrome


        f) Repeat steps 2.a, 2.b and it will bring you to step 2.c, now click on Download Integration Software, Double-click on the ips.exe file on the bottom left, when it finish downloading click OK 

       

        g) The Integration Settings page will look like this now, click on the New button  


        h) Select BSI for Type, choose a Name, set IP address to 127.0.0.1, set Port to 2345, set Timeout to 30000 and click Next 


   i) Select desired attributes from Available Columns and click Next


   j) Select the OEM's that apply to your dealer ship, then type in the Manufacture Vendor Code (this is found in vendor tile) & click Next


   k) Select the service that applies to your dealership, then click Next and your done click Finish


   
l) Now the integration page looks like this, if the Status says disabled click Refresh and it should say Enabled


   
m) Click on the Microfiche button, there is a pop-up window and click Snap-on Parts Manager Pro Web. Now the integration between Dx1 and PartsManager Pro has been set up. The user can use the PartsManger Pro to create and export picklists to DX1.
