Job Indicators will give you a fully customizable process for defining the state of each job.  You have full flexibility to define your own list of Job Indicators, pick a color for each, and the order you want to display them.  And yes, you can see and update these right from the service invoice list and invoice job details.

  1. How to add, edit, or delete Job Indicators
    1. To add a new indicator
      1. Click the Service Sales Tile
      2. In the left navigation menu, navigate to and click "Job Indicators"
      3. Click the + ADD button
      4. In the new Job Indicator pop up you will:
        1. Enter a Job Indicator Name
        2. Select a color
        3. Assign an order (not required)
          1. You can enter the same order number for more than one item. In this instance, the sort of the indicators will be alphabetically
      5. Hit Save to view the indicator in the Job Indicator List

  1. To edit a Job Indicator
    1. Click the Service Sales Tile
    2. In the left navigation window, navigate to and click "Job Indicators"
    3. Find the desired indicator and click the pencil icon to edit the Job Indicator details
    4. Click Save
  2. To delete a Job Indicator
    1. Click the Service Sales Tile
    2. In the left navigation window menu, navigate to and click "Job Indicators"
    3. Find the desired indicator and click the trashcan icon to delete the Job Indicator details
    4. When prompted with the warning banner confirm that you understand:
      1.  This Job Indicator may already be associated with one or more jobs, if it is deleted those jobs will no longer have a Job Indicator set, would you like to proceed?
        1. Click Yes or No
  1. How to select indicators in the invoice sales list
    1. Expand the RO Summary line
    2. If this is the first time using indicators, the default will be "Please Select"
    3. Click the drop-down and select the Job Indicator you desire
    4. The field will update automatically, no need to refresh the invoice list
  2. How to select indicators in invoice details
    1. Select the job you want to set an indicator for
    2. Click the drop-down and select the Job Indicator you desire
    3. Click Save


Product Manager Tip: We specifically added the ability to set indicator orders so dealers could see the Job Indicators in the drop-down in the order that made sense. So think about what your dealership workflows are and try to order them in that process.
