The "AllFields" search function in DX1 allows dealers to quickly access information for parts that have been through the dealership inventory system. The "AllFields" search allows you to search for a part using the part number or description with matching type ahead results.

How to enable or disable the "AllFields" feature
- The "AllFields" search defaults to on for all dealers.
- To have the feature turned off, please contact DX1 customer support and they will assist you with disabling the feature.
- Likewise, to re-enable the "AllFields" search please contact customer support to enable the feature.
- In order to see the changes take place in DX1, you must do an application reset after customer support confirms the system change.
- In the event you do turn the "AllFields" search on it can take up to 24 hours for the inventory to show in the search.
Basic rules around using the "AllFields" search in Parts Inventory Management
- "AllFields" is the default search when enabled.
- At least three values are required to start the type-ahead function in the "AllFields" search
- Results will show the part number, description, supplier, and quantity on hand.
- You can search using part descriptions.
- You can search using part numbers.
- The results will list 10 items matching by the type case in the description, then sorted by part number.
- Results we only return for items that have been through the dealership inventory, not price books.
- This does not mean there has to be a quantity of 1 or greater, just that the part has at one point been in your inventory.
- You can click the "show more" option to expand your inquiry.
- Results will show the part number, description, supplier, and quantity on hand.
