Inventory Management is where you will come to manage your part inventory. Managing your dealership inventory is one of the most important things you can do so get familiar with the page and functionality.
To get to the inventory management page follow the steps below.
1. From the DX1 dashboard click on the Inventory Management tile
2. Users can filter their results on this page. YIf you click the "Search By" drop down you can search by:
- Allfields - This is a type ahead drill-down search. It will search most fields within a part detail
- Part # - This will search only by the part number you type into the search field
- UPC - This will search only by the UPC number you type into the search field
- Manufacturer Code - This will search only by the manufacturer code you type into the search field
- Description - This will search only by the part description you type into the search field
- Bins - This will search only by the bin number/name you type into the search field
- Catalog - Search by a specific vendor or search by "All"
- In Inventory Toggle - This will give the option to return results for only in stock parts or all parts
- Show Discontinued Toggle - This will give the option to show discontinued parts in a search
3. Example of a general parts search for Polaris. To see all of the parts for a chosen catalog use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to click through each page.
