How Can I Identify a Polaris Digital Lead?

Leads from Polaris Digital are marked with an Ad Source of Polaris Digital


In most cases, model information will appear just below the ‘Lead Information’ header, as well as in the ‘Model Wanted’ section 




Action Reporting - Automatic Actions

Certain activities will result in the sharing of information from DX1 to Polaris Digital; these are default actions and require no action at the Dealership.

Lead Received

When a lead is sent to your DX1 lead manager from Polaris Digital, Polaris digital receives confirmation that the information was created and is available for review.

Automatic Response

If automatic lead response is configured for your Dealership, DX1 will send an email response to the prospect and a notice to Polaris Digital. The automatic response tool will use email template designated for ‘Internet Vehicle Leads’ in Dealership Settings. 



Action Reporting - Actions Requiring User Activity

There are many activities within DX1 that will trigger responses to Polaris Digital; these actions require manual interaction by Dealership employees.

Lead Updates - Road to the Sale Activities

When Polaris Digital leads are manually updated within the Road to the Sale, updates will be sent to Polaris Digital; all actions must be manually performed to be correctly recorded.

Salesperson Responded by Email

This status is sent when the ‘1st Response’ Event is marked as completed.


Salesperson Responded by Phone

This status is sent when the ‘Initial Contact Completed’ Event is marked as completed.


Made Appointment

This status is sent when the ‘Appointment Set’ Event is marked as completed.

Appointment Showed

This status is sent when the ‘Appointment Showed’ or ‘Appointment Completed’ Event is marked as completed.





Demoed / Test Drove

This status is sent when the ‘Test Drive’ Event is marked as completed.

Credit Application

This status is sent when the ‘Credit Check’ Event is marked as completed.

Delivery Information

Delivery notification is sent when the ‘Scheduled Delivery’ or ‘Delivered’ Event is marked as completed.


Salesperson Marked Vehicle Sold

This status is sent when when the ‘Sale Completed’ Event is marked as completed or an open invoice is completed.



Activity Reporting - Additional Activities

Lead Opened

This status is sent when the lead is opened from the Lead List screen

Salesperson Responded by Email

This status is sent when an email to the customer is manually generated from the lead detail screen. Learn More


Model Information

Model Year, Make, and Model are sent when any Polaris branded model is added to a Polaris Digital lead as the primary Unit of Interest. ‘Polaris branded model’ includes any of the Polaris brands: Slingshot, Gem, BRUTUS, Victory, Slingshot, Polaris or Indian.’ 


Different Brand

This status is sent when any non-Polaris branded model is added to a Polaris Digital lead as the primary Unit of Interest. ‘Polaris branded model’ includes any of the Polaris brands: Slingshot, Gem, BRUTUS, Victory, Slingshot, Polaris or Indian.’



Lead Set to Inactive/Deleted

This status is sent by selecting the edit icon in the ‘Current Status’ area and setting the lead to   ‘Bad’ or ‘Lost’
