DX1 allows the display of destination charges for inventory units on your DX1 website. The display of destination charges consists of a disclaimer that will appear below the unit price, as in this example:
Displaying Destination/Freight Charge for a unit
Destination/Freight charges can be added to inventory listings in multiple ways, depending on the area of the system.
Major Unit Management ( for those dealers who sell their inventory using DX1)
You can display destination charges by entering a value in the ‘Freight DSP’ field and setting ‘Show Freight DSP - Web’ to ‘On.’
NOTE: If the unit price is hidden, the current price is set to zero, you will not be able to update this toggle.
For Marketing only (For those who sell their major units using another program)
Listing Inventory
You can display destination charges by entering a value in the ‘Destination Charge (Freight)’ field and setting ‘Show Freight DSP - Web’ to ‘On.’
NOTE: If the unit price is hidden, the current price is set to zero, you will not be able to update this toggle.
Disabling all Destination Charge Displays
If you would like to completely disable destination/freight charges from appearing on your website, including those posted by DX1, you can toggle the ‘Destination Charges’ option in the General Information section of your website setup.
