Dealers are going to have situations where customers are looking for units they do not have on order. In this case DX1 suggests using a model placement withing a quote. Keep in mind you will NOT be able to add any service quotes with parts. If you really think you are going to find a unit where a service quote is needed, create a Coming Soon unit instead. This will allow you to add service and parts to a quote

Note: When working with ANY Invoice, each user will need to click save button at least every 20 minutes.  If a user walks away from the open Invoice without saving within that 20 minute time frame changes to the Invoice will be lost!

Click New Quote from the menu on the left

Click Add Unit  from the menu on the left

Under Type click the drop down box and change to models.  Use the search filters to find the needed model.  Click on the model and then Add Selected
