Note: When working with ANY Invoice, each user will need to click save button at least every 20 minutes.  If a user walks away from the open Invoice without saving within that 20 minute time frame changes to the Invoice will be lost!

Once you have added a customer and selected a unit, you will click the triple dot menu button and select Trade-In to open the Customer garage to add or select a unit to trade in.

Any unit that has been purchased from the dealership before will show automatically. Click on the unit and choose + Add Selected or click the + Add button.

If there is not a unit in the Customer Garage you can close the pop up and use the + Add button to select the unit for trade in.

You will now be search for the unit, add in a bunch of required information such as VIN, Engine, Odometer, Trade Allowance, ACV, Payoff, as well as a DSP. DOn't forget to select if you wan the Trade-In value to reduce the Taxable Amount.

At this point you can add the information to the deal without putting it into your dealer inventory, or if you know the deal is proceeding you can add the unit directly to your inventory, your choice.

If you do click Add to Inventory it will open the Assign Stock# for Trade-In pop up. Stock numbers will be provided but can be edited by clicking into the field. You can also do the same thing for VIN/HIN/SN and Vendor. once you click save you can close the Trade-In po up and proceed.

Now when yu land back on the Unit Information portion of the deal you will see the Trade-In amount under the DSP field.

You can also now view the deal profitability with the trade-in factored. To do this click the Total Amount Dye hyperlink on the Invoice Details page, this will open the Major Unit Profit pop up with all the details needed.

The trade-in also shows inside the unit inventory detail. You can see which deal the trade in was taken under as well as the customer associated.

Additionally when in the Major Unit Management list, you can click the gear icon to advance search for just trade-in units.
