The DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator allows dealers to locate parts availability within the DX1 dealer network. The DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator does not show any inventory information related to in stock quantities or pricing. This feature is on for all dealers as default as has NO extra cost. Using the Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator will allow you to:


  • Find out if the part is in stock with a dealer within the DX1 dealer network

  • Find out contact information and how far that dealer is geographically from your dealership

  • How to turn off the DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator.

Where to find and open the DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator in an invoice.

  1. If a part number within the parts invoice shows as a special order quantity you will see the new DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator icon.

  2. Click the icon to open the DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator window.



How to read the information in the parts locator window.

  1. Once the DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator is open you will see the Part #, Part Description, and Part Quantity, which is always set to quantity 1.

  2. You will also see a dealer grid list with the Part #, Description, Vendor, Dealership, Contact Phone Number, and Geographical Miles Away from your dealership.


How to turn off the DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator.

  1. Click your initials in the DX1 dashboard toolbar

  2. Click “Dealership Settings”

  3. Click the Part Setting tab in the collapse menu

  4. Toggle the “Enable DX1 Dealer To Dealer Parts Locator” to off.

  5. Click Save

  6. Click your initials again and do an application reset.


Note: The DX1 Dealer to Dealer Parts Locator icon will only show when the special order quantity is set to a value.
