Note: When working with ANY Invoice, each user will need to click save button at least every 20 minutes. If a user walks away from the open Invoice without saving within that 20 minute time frame changes to the Invoice will be lost!
Note: The examples given revolve around checking the F&I products from within Dealership Settings
Example 1: Unable to find the F&I product to sell on a major unit
Click on the user name in the upper right hand corner. Then choose Dealership settings.
Choose F&I products from the left hand side
The user can then search for the product by name or description. If no records are found the product will need to be built.
Example 2: Model Type not found
Note: Additional model types can only be chosen for private F&I products added by the dealership
If the user does find the product they will also want to make sure under the model type tab of the product that the model being sold has been included for the product to be sold to. To verify:
Click on the product
Choose the Model Type tab. If the check box is empty for the model being sold the product will not be available on the quote or deal. Click the box then Save.
Example 3: Monthly Term not found
If the user is unable to find the correct monthly term it may need to be added under the details tab.
Example 4: Engine CC's
Note: It is recommended that the from CC box remain at 0. This will allow for the widest range of CC’s associated with the product to be an option when adding to an mu deal. If a user wants to set a different value it needs to be the exact beginning CC’s based on the unit information. If the beginning CC number does not match what is set for the unit the product will not be shown as choice.
