Once the filters have been set ( if applicable) the user can follow the adjustments using the fields shown:

Ref. #: Use this to determine if the change occurred in a certain area of DX1 ( example: Ref# 488 references the creation of a Purchase Order for the part number in question)

Date: When the adjustment was made

Department: Where the change was made ( example: a manager may have created a PO versus someone from the service department requesting parts)

N/A: used when parts are received, POP are created, or manual adjustments are made

RO Or MU #: Used when parts requests are done and the parts have been sold over

User: The employee who made the change when they were logged in.

ADJ: The amount the change was made by ( example: -1 part was sold out of inventory)

Part 2: how to read the Adjustment screen

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. The most recent adjustments are shown at the screen with 11 entries per screen.

Note: To go farther back in the History click on the arrows at the bottom of the screen.

2. Scroll to the right hand side of the screen using the bar at the bottom of the screen. For this example an ADJ of 6 was made by the parts being received in ( note: this can be seen by scrolling back to the left)  ADJ will now show 6 with a new OH of 6.

3. In the entry above the receiving a part is sold out of inventory.

Under the ADJ box we see a -1 showing that quantity was taken out of inventory.  Under OH ( on hand ) DX1 shows 5 for the quantity.

4. In the event that a part is not fully sold out of inventory ( example: the part is requested for an RO ) a zero is shown with the OH still showing 5.

5. Once the RO is complete the part is then the ADJ will show -1 with a new OH of 4
