Inventory Sorting : DX1

We have added Inventory sorting settings that allows you to manually override inventory sort order for your website.

To add your preferred settings,

Navigate to Listing Inventory and Classifieds tile under Marketing Communication tile set.

Select Inventory Sorting from the menu on the left.

Choose your preferred inventory sort order. The selection will be applied to all websites for the dealership.

There are five options to choose from.

Default (No Override)

Category Override

Override based on vehicle category

e.g. I want to show my snowmobiles first.

Select Category Override option
Select a vehicle category from the Category dropdown list and click Add.
Repeat the above step if you want to add more vehicle categories.
The categories will be displayed in the boxes that can be dragged and dropped to change the order of display
Click Save on the top right to save your selections.

Manufacturer Override

Override based on Manufacturer

e.g. I want to show all my Polaris units first.

Select Manufacturer Override option
Select a manufacturer from the Manufacturer dropdown list and click Add.
Repeat the above step if you want to add more manufacturers.
The added manufacturers will be displayed in the boxes that can be dragged and dropped to change the order of display
Click Save on the top right to save your selections.

Manufacturer & Category Override

Override based on Manufacturer and category combined

e.g I want to show Polaris snowmobile first.

Select Manufacturer & Category Override option
Select a manufacturer from the Manufacturer dropdown list and click Add.
Select a vehicle category from the Category dropdown list and click Add.
Repeat the above 2 steps if you want to add more manufacturers and categories..
The added manufacturers and categories will be displayed in the boxes that can be dragged and dropped to change the order of display
Click Save on the top right to save your selections.

Inventory Priority Override

Override based on each individual unit.

e.g. I want to sort all my inventory in my own order.

Select Inventory Priority Override option
Double click under Sort for the unit line item you wish to add sort value
Add sort value.
The value defaults to 0 for all the units.
Click Save on the top right to save your selections.
The units based on the value will display first in the website,1 being the highest priority order.
