Here are some highlights of the next DX1 Release scheduled for Monday, July 17th, 2023
DMS Tax Rates - To help make sure you select the correct city & tax rate when adding a new customer we have done two things: As soon as you enter a customer’s zip code, if there are multiple Cities and or Tax Rates available you will see the message “Multiple options available please verify”. For many cities there are two tax rates, one for customers that are within the city limits and another for customers that are not, so we now also indicate “In City” or “Out of City” if there are two rates.
Quick Void Parts Invoices - As long as a payment has not been taken you can now void a parts invoice directly from the Parts Invoice list. This will make the process of cleaning up older no longer needed quotes and invoices much quicker and easier.
Alternate Part Code - This feature was announced last month but got delayed, it is now available. You now have the option to enter an alternate part code for any inventory part. The new field will be included in any search you do for a part (Invoicing, Ordering and Receiving). There are two primary reasons for adding an alternate part code: 1) You want to add a UPC to a public part 2) You want to add “short codes” to commonly used part numbers to make them easier to pull up. So take a look and as always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact DX1 Support at dx1support@dx1app.com or 1.877.944.6766.
