Q. What kinds of warranties can be processed within DX1?
1. Standard Manufacturer: Typically these revolve around the first year coverage that comes with the purchase of a new unit. Dealerships will provide a list of the manufacturer warranties they work with ( Honda, Suzuki, etc....) and DX1 assists in the creation of the warranty vendor and MOP ( Method Of Payment) for those vendors.
2. Third Party: These types are outside of the manufacturer standard. They can be sold directly from the dealer or a company that provides the service. As with the manufacturer warranties, DX1 works with the dealer before going live to do the same setup as well.
Q. How does DX1 handle warranties that require deductibles?
Users may click on the deductible field located within the RO itself.
