Here are some highlights of the next DX1 Release scheduled for Monday August 26th, 2024
DMS Smart Voiding - DX1's Smart Voiding is a way to automatically have Quotes, Deals, Work Estimates, Repair Orders, On Hold Quotes and On Hold Invoices voided after a defined number of days. Smart Voiding allows you to do the following:
Decide what departments you want Smart Voiding for
Decide the types of invoices that will get voided
Decide the number of days until an invoice will get voided
Taxable Warranty Deductible - In some states Warranty Deductibles need to be taxed, DX1 now has the option to turn this On or Off. The "Warranty Deductible is Taxable" setting can be found in Dealership Settings / Service Settings, the default is Off.
Turn14 Catalog - DX1 now has a fully integrated public Turn 14 catalog which is automatically updated daily. For dealers that are already using a private version of this catalog you will be migrated to the new public Turn 14 catalog in the next few weeks. Turn 14 offers dealer specific pricing, to take advantage of this you will need to obtain your Turn 14 API credentials and add them to your new Turn 14 Distribution Vendor in DX1. Turn 14 Order Export - Just like with many other catalogs in DX1 you will have the option to generate an order export file that you can load into your Turn 14 portal.
BRP Unit Warranty Coverage - Allows BRP dealers to verify a unit's warranty coverage before starting the warranty claim process. A BRP unit’s coverage can be checked from the Service invoice grid by clicking the BRP icon or from the Job by clicking the “Check Warranty Coverage” button in the warranty section. DX1 will also automatically check every BRP unit when it is added to an RO to see if it is still under warranty and if it is it will display clearly as “Under Warranty”.
BRP Unit Promotions - Allows BRP Dealers to see promotions currently available for any new BRP unit. This can be done by clicking on the BRP icon on the Major Unit Management or Active Sales grids or from the Incentives section on the Deal Screen. You can also access the information by clicking on the “Promotions” button on the inventory detail screen.
BRP Shipments - Allows BRP dealers to retrieve BRP Invoice or Delivery documents by date range or by invoice / delivery number. This new interface displays all invoice and delivery details including clickable tracking links; it can be found in the Parts Receiving section of DX1.
Marketing
Website Parts & Accessories Catalogs: Hide Discontinued Products - Reduce online orders for parts and gear you can’t get your hands on by activating this new setting, which will hide discontinued parts from your online shop. Learn how to activate this feature
eCommerce: Automatic Tax Rates (DX1 DMS) - Use your existing tax rate configuration to ensure you collect the correct tax for your online orders. No more manual set up and guessing- set it and forget it! Learn more about tax rate configuration for your online shop
Serialized Part Website Publishing & eCommerce - Publish your serialized parts directly from part inventory to your website or Online Shop, and allow website visitors to make purchase from your website. Learn More in DX1 help
