DX1 DMS/Operations Release September 23, 2019

Operations (DMS) Updates / Features in this Release


  • Parts Invoice Stacking (Beta) *this feature will be slowly rolled out to dealers”

    • Our dealers have been asking for the ability to take multiple parts invoices and combine them into one.  With this release we have made this possible, dealers now have the ability to combine on-hold invoice and special order invoice into one invoice for cashiering.

Customer - Invoicing

  • Display "Customer Status" from the customer record on the Invoice Screens.  

    • We have added the ability to view the customer status on all invoice screens.  You will now see a red info icon when the customer that has been added to the invoice has a status within their customer record, simply hover over the icon with the cursor to see the status.


  • Upgrade to ActiveReports 12 & ActiveReports 12 Server to Service Pack 3

  • Active Reports - Added option to Save As CSV Without Headers.  Some of our data partners like Spader require that the files that are uploaded are in CSV format and do not have any headers, this now means no manual file editing will be required.  


  • Remove Default Date Parameters for the Parts and MU Sales Reports, this means that these reports will no longer Auto run.  A number of dealers had complained that they always had to wait for the reports to run before they could enter the specific parameters they wanted.

   Operations (DMS) Bug Fixes in this Release


  • FD# 57044 - QB Sync - AR Account Balance updates working inconsistently for some QBO customers - In this release we have not resolved the issue but we have added logging so we can hopefully track down the problem.

Major Unit

  • FD# 48268 - Honda freight charges were being applied for a non honda dealer causing freight charges to show up on used units, this has been resolved


  • We have resolved and issue where the job description field inside of a repair order double space when you press the enter key.

  • We have resolved an issue where the repair order job description line spacing was causing excessive use of paper


  • We have resolved an issue where certain screens would crash due to the DX1 chat feature

  • We have resolved an issue where the Gift Card Liability Account would not save
