Marketing Updates / Features in this Release


  • Vehicle History Reports
    Vehicle History reports are by InstaVIN offer specifications, lien, title and other information that can be used to verify vehicle information and its history. Where a unit has a valid VIN for which a report is available, a ‘Get Vehicle History’ button will appear on the unit detail page. By clicking this button consumers will have the opportunity to purchase a history report.

    Several conditions apply to the appearance of the InstaVIN link:

    • Unit must have a VIN entered

    • VIN must be valid

    • InstaVIN must have a record for the VIN; certain products, such as snowmobiles and trailers will rarely, if ever have reports associated.

    • The ‘Show Vehicle History’ option must be enabled in the Showroom Detail module settings. This setting is enabled by default for all dealers but may be disabled by contacting DX1 Support.







Marketing Bug Fixes in this Release

  • Corrected a bad help article link in the newsletter sender DMARC message

  • Corrected several merge codes in the newsletter text editor that were not populating data correctly
    - Billing Street Address
    - Fax Number
    - Mobile Phone Number
    - Phone Number

  • Fixed an issue where newsletter reporting was not properly generated when a newsletter was sent (Subscribers sent to appeared as '0')

  • Fixed an issue where no results were displayed when performing an advanced search in listing inventory when creating a new listing

  • Fixed an issue where destination charges were not copied from one listing to another when creating new listing from existing inventory in inventory listing

  • Fixed an issue where the Unit of Interest was not populating in email sent from the Planner

  • Fixed an issue preventing the 'Call Now' button from appearing on mobile devices for some DX1 websites

  • Fixed an issue where the the 'Display Name' merge code was not properly rendering the Customer/Prospect name on some newsletter templates
